Releases based on 7.2-RELEASE
XFCE Build
- XFCE DVD iso (based on 7.2-RELEASE-p1, XFCE 4.6.1, 15/6/09)
- Matching OpenOffice 3.1.0 packages for the above iso
- README file for the OpenOffice packages (Please READ)
- Options used to compile the ports in the DVD
GNOME Build
Important: There is a known (but at the moment unsolved) problem with the package INDEX on the GNOME DVD. Two required packages, are not automatically selected as dependencies although they are present on the disc. Please make sure to select and install these packages manually, (in addition to any other packages) from the "All" selection of the sysinstall package menu, otherwise other packages may fail to install:
- djbfft - This is required for gnumeric
- libdvdcss - This is required for gnome multimedia playback
- GNOME DVD iso (based on 7.2-RELEASE-p2, GNOME 2.26.2, 29/6/09)
- Matching OpenOffice 3.1.0 packages for the above iso (same as in XFCE)
- README file for the OpenOffice packages (Please READ)
- Options used to compile the ports in the DVD
The GNOME build replaces the XFCE packages of the first DVD with the GNOME ones. The remaining packages are otherwise identical. The GNOME build includes:
- Complete version of GNOME 2.26.2
- The gnome-power-tools packages
- The gnome-fifth-toe packages
OpenOffice Standalone Packages
VirtualBox Packages
